Torus RTC rims

Torus RTC rims are a Road Tubeless compatible clincher rim with a temperature resistant brake track. These rims have been tried and tested and provide a nice lightweight aero road wheel. They brake track is 25mm wide providing a wider base for the modern race tyres. They then become slightly wider to provide improved airflow transition from the tyre to rim - which improves their performance and stability in cross winds. Torus MTC 29er Asym Carbon MTB Rims

XC race and trail tough carbon rims. 27mm wide asymmetric rims use an offset spoke bed to improve lateral wheel stiffness. Light enough to race on and tough enough for trail thrashing. These carbon rims give much greater lateral stiffness compared to the best alloy rims - so they can be built with less spokes, and lighter spokes if required. The Steel 650B from Torus Bicycles is a modern classic. A fusion of fillet-brazed butted steel yields a light weight, but durable, frame with that unmistakable steel ride quality. The Steel 650B was designed in the UK as a versatile cross country trail bike. Double-butted 520 cromoly is used throughout, to help keep the weight down. The sliding dropouts allows the bike to be set up a single speed or geared. It can be run rigid or with suspension forks - the choice is yours.
